ROHAM
My journey in yoga started in my early twenties. Not with Asana practice, but with constant little hints from the universe nudging me closer and closer to beginning practicing; like people from all corners of my life suggesting it would be good for me in one way or another. Initially I spent my time either brushing these signs off, or flat out ignoring them because I did not see them for what they were. Serendipitously, it was through the closing of my gym’s steam room due to renovations for a year that I thought I would finally try hot yoga; figuring the heat was what I wanted, and the yoga postures couldn’t hurt either. A friend and yoga teacher I knew at the time suggested I buy a monthly pass and try to attend as many classes as I could before it expired. I practiced daily, and I fell in love with it almost instantly.

After seeing the total mind and body benefits I was gaining from my practice I had a huge urge to begin sharing it with my friends, family, and acquaintances. I figured that the best way to accomplish this would be to complete a yoga teacher training course so that I could establish a better understanding of yoga, its benefits, and how to practice it safely. Since the completion of my Yoga Teacher Training course I realized my journey is still only in its infancy. After teaching for almost a year after my graduation I recently traveled to the birthplace of yoga, India, to obtain my second 200 hour teacher training certification.

I hope with my constant search for further knowledge and practice in Yoga I will be able to help all of my fellow yogis and yoginis further their own practice in a safe, warm, and friendly environment where we can all grow together towards total samadhi, natural bliss.
